Charles Cox was born in Dodge County, Georgia and is a retired United Methodist Minister with more than fifty years of ministry in the pastorate and in industry. His roots are as deep in South Georgia as those of the pine trees in the family business that enabled him to earn two degrees from Emory University. He is married to the former Carol Louise Taylor, his high school sweetheart, whom he met in Cochran, Georgia. They have two children and four granddaughters. Charles and Carol reside in Midland, Georgia.
