Gaby Osterburg Azhar was born in Germany and immigrated to the United States at the age of 10. She grew up in Columbus, Georgia, where she attended school -Baker High School and Columbus State University where she obtained a B.S. in Sociology. In her working life Gaby has been an office administrator, grant writer, and newsletter editor. She has traveled in Germany and Switzerland and spent two years in Pakistan. Gaby collects sheep stuffed, metal, ceramic- -and prefers dogs over cats. Her favorite authors are Rudyard Kipling and Rick Bragg. She has won several local awards for her writing, In her spare time, Gaby shares her love of knitting and crocheting.
