James “Jay” McGrory is a practicing orthopaedic surgeon in Columbus, Georgia. He completed his undergraduate education at The University of Alabama, and received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University in 1994. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at The Mayo Clinic, then spent four years on the teaching staff of Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia. He has been in private practice since at The Hughston Clinic in Columbus, and is a staff surgeon at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital, in Phenix City, Alabama. He lives with his wife and family.
